Description
This is a rock clamp designed for use with the Barranca Diamond BD-10 slab
saw. It fits onto the existing rock vise posts and enables grabbing a previously-cut
rock for further slab cutting.
This clamp with default dimesnions requires 4 (qty) M8 flat-head screws of at least
40mm in length. These (amazon.com link) work well: http://a.co/aQb8YKR
The design has a top part, a bottom part, and 2 knobs that go between the
wing nuts and the top part. The knobs are optional; the clamp works fine with wingnuts and washers.
I printed the parts with 3 or 4 perimeters and 50% density in PETG with 0.3mm layer height. PETG is a good fit for the heat and moisture involved.
