Motorcycle Battery box (internal bag hardcase)

I needed a new battery box for my smaller 4cell battery to replace the huge lead acid battery I had before on my rebel bike. Although I'm sure there are plenty of other uses for a basic box like this as well!

I found a nice leather bag on amazon that was the right style, although it was too tall and needed to be cut in half to fit this box size.

I was able to easily cut it shorter.. but I wanted a durable solid case inside, both to protect the battery, and to keep water from soaking through the bag. So this was my solution!

Printed in ABS, although PLA may work (just less resistant to impacts). use thick walls and plenty of infill, drill holes as needed for routing wires.

Includes a lid which should be a snug fit, and a few small drain holes in the bottom should moisture manage to get inside somehow.

this is not a professional make, and I would advise you use at your own risk because this is a battery we're talking about! I have not had any personal issues myself however!

There was plenty of room left inside the case with the battery installed. I used rigid foam to snugly place it inside, and used the extra room to hide a fuse, and a few loose wires!
