Description
This is a remix of a popular fishing rod holder like a Scotty style rod holder. This version will clamp on standard EMT conduit that is 3/4" (inches) in diameter.
The inside is the correct size to fit a PVC pipe with a 41.8 mm diameter or 1.6" (inches). I just glue the PVC in with PVC glue or CA glue seems to work well and is a lot faster than printing out long tubes on the printer.
The bolt recesses are modeled for 12.6 mm bolt heads 1/2" hex head with 7.75 mm shaft (0.30 in).
I believe these are the 5/16 bolts you get at the store I get them in lengths of 69 mm or 2 3/4" (inches).
The base just uses standard cylinder hex head M3 bolts I think 50mm-55mm long work really well for going over the EMT.
The U clips should fit over 3/4" OD conduit. Printing can be done with hole down and supports inside the tube.
I haven't worked on this project in ages...but I am 75% confident that the files I am uploading now are my latest iteration, let me know if there are any fitting issues as I have switched computers since I started this project. Ya know how it goes.
