Description
NOTE: I have not printed this or tested it yet. It might be a little bit before I get a chance to, but I wanted to get my feet wet with posting on Thingiverse and get the file out there if anyone is looking for something like this. I will update the post when I have them printed and installed.
MTW (Makers Tool Works) has started selling new bronze/brass leadscrew nut that is much smoother than their old plastic/delrin version, but their provided mounting solution wastes a lot of space Z height and makes you use screws for no real good reason. I was going to design mine from scratch, but I decided to give the built in tools in Windows 10 a try.
I know the MM2 is long in the tooth, but mine sat dorment for 5 years so I can't really justify a whole new machine. These little upgrades are making some really nice prints, so hopefully someone else out there is still using one of these old rigs and can get some use out of my designs.
