Description
I attended a rainwater collection and use workshop hosted by my town a few years ago. We got to make rain barrels from recycled food (olive) transport and storage containers.
I finally got around to hooking them up, and I didn't like the lame design for the diverter they had.
I didn't see anything else on Thingiverse that would fit my needs.
This one is fully parametric, so you can tweak it however you'd like.
I've done a lot of 'tweaks' on this version. I've marked it as a WIP until I get my V2 fully installed and update the photos. The V1 versions have been renamed.
Updates for the V2 version:
Also, it's sized for 55x85 (or 2.25" x ~3.5" downspout). I made it the size I needed.
I put on two exterior barb hose outlets, because I wanted two hoses for better flow without the fitting constricting the diameter of the hose. I'll be printing coinciding receptacles to thread into the barrels at some point.
