Description
I have a couple of year old Coleman LED headlamp. But the cap for the battery finally degraded and I can no longer get it to work without the cap. So buying a new one isn't possible anymore. Repair pieces are not avaiable. So I designed a replacement.
WARNING this Thing is not yet tested. It is my intent to SLA print this with high impact resin. But I may try printing it solid in ABS on a Zortrax.
This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/l8adsyPl8MW
UPDATE - I've printed it in on a makerbot replicator 2 out of PLA. It takes a little sanding and cleanup from the supports, but it fits. It's a little tighter than the original cap, but it fits. I was actually surprised because I expected the print to separate on the z axis sheer. But it hasn't. It's working great now.
