Description

I designed this to work with a Tecknet USB camera which I use with Octoprint for monitoring while printing. It should be adaptable to other mounts.

This fits into the 2020 extrusion on the CR-10. It should fit any 2020 extrusion as well (please post a "make" if you use it for something other than a CR-10).

UPDATE: June 2019
I made a beefier base on the design after breaking it when I accidentally bumped it. Hopefully this will hold up a little better. It is labeled "V2" in the files.

If you need a different mount for the camera, please let me know and I can design one and add (assuming it is just a simple hole that is needed). I just need to know what dimension to make the hole, just leave it in the comments.

Parts needed:

2 each : M5 10mm bolt
2 each : M5 t-nuts
1 each : M3 10mm bolt
Web Cam: I used the "Tecknet C016 USB HD Webcam" which can be purchased from Amazon for around $15. It works great with Octoprint, no configuration needed, just plug and play.
Zip Tie (recommended)

This is pretty simple to assemble. Put M5's into the bottom mount with the t-nuts on them. Pop off the cover on the corner of the CR-10 2020 extrusion. Slide in, put the cover back on, and tighten. Make sure your bed is not going to hit it.

If you are using the TEknet camera, unscrew the stock mount- you won't be using it. Save the screw, fit the camera into the mount, and screw in. After that, screw the mount down using the M3 10mm bolt. Use the zip tie to keep the wire out of the way.

Hope you enjoy!
