The HMS Thunder Child from H. G. Wells' The War of The Worlds modeled entirely in OpenSCAD for Chapter 6 in Practical 3D Printers, www.apress.com/9781430243922. This piece started as a challenge with MakerBlock's excellent Pirate Ship (thing:12856) and a comment in Windham Graves War of the Worlds playset (thing:14580).
