Description

This is a "wet palette" which keeps your acrylic paints useable for a much longer time than on a normal palette. It works by having a water soaked sponge with some membrane paper on top. This way the paint last much longer, hours longer. When you keep the lod closed it can even last days. Don't forget to keep the sponge wett and refill some water from time to time.

For this to work you need to print at least the bottom part watertight. This can usually be done using 100% infill. You may also want to set many perimeters/thick walls. I also use a pattern like "/ \ | -" for the infill. Be aware that the version with the grid in the bottom piece may get harder to be watertight if you don't use 100% infill! The grid is meant to help the water distribution when refilling. It works for me but may not be needed at all.

I use some thin kitchen sponge as water reservoir and "oil soaking french fries" paper as membrane. You can also use other parchment paper. Just try what works for you and share it in the comments!

P.S.: This was made for my Ender 3 printer and uses the full bed! You may need to scale it down for your printer. That should work pretty well, just don't scale the z axis!
