UPDATE 2: For those printing via DLP/SLA, I added my model with supports. It's called :DLP-SLA_Supported_Sm_Apple_Watch_PipBoy_V3.stl". This is the model I used with my photon at both .05 and .025 with great success. Hope this helps!

UPDATE 1: I had uploaded a poorly scaled file. Sorry about that guys. The bad version has been removed and replaced with the properly sized one. If you'd rather not redownload the file, just scale the old one up so Z (or height) is 64.53 mm.

Sorry for such a large file but I haven't had luck reducing it without losing something in the print.

First of all, credit where credit is due. I don't know if I'd have been able to make this if it weren't for CPregnan (https://www.thingiverse.com/cpregnan) and his model of the Pip Boy 3000 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:349267)
. I may not have been able to (or maybe I just didn't know how) copy parts of his model but I had Zbrush open on one screen to sculpt and on the other was this detailed model. I don't think I can call it a remix but seriously, great model of the Pip Boy 3000 and, if you want to make a phone case version, he's your man.

So, this is an apple watch stand that will work with either the 38 or 42mm sizes (tested) but please note that it was designed for the OEM Apple Watch charging cable. Tried a few off brands but they didn't fit. Also, this charging stand will not play nicely with any sort of case/housing.

I printed this on the Anycubic Photon at a layer height of .05. Still, I think you could print it at .1 and it would still look great. I apologize I can't give FDM printer settings but I think it's pretty straight forward. I wouldn' pick a support angle greater than 65 but printers and setups are different. What do I know. I WOULD recommend, for FDM, either pick a larger infill percent than you normally would or make room on the model to glue some washers or coins to add some weight. Nobody likes a stand that slides around a lot when you place or remove the item. Eh, but again, what do I know? : )

Anyway, hope you enjoy and feel free to ask me any questions if you have any trouble getting a good print.
