Description

This is a classical watering can much like your families old sheet metal watering can, designed to be easily printable on most medium to large machines. Intended to pair nicely with any printable desktop planter, such as my Planttlement or the famous Plantygon.

There is an inside "Max Fill" line for ease of pouring and transportation. When using PLA it should come out completely water tight, and plenty strong.

Included is a "Double Wide" version for those who want a larger can. I have found that I can water 2-3 desktop plants with the regular can.

Modeled in Solidworks, and printed on a standard Prusa MK2. Supports are not needed and it was designed to be completely unsupported. If the handle starts to have too much flexing during the connection between sides supports can be added in that section to help stiffen the print, but it will work fine without them. I printed it using simplify 3D, though it will work with any slicer.

UPDATE 03Sep18

I have added in a DoubleThick (3mm wall) Model for each design of watering can. These models also include a small fillet at the base of the spout, and at the initiation and termination of the handle, for strength. I have yet to test print these.
