Led aluminium desk lamp "Little Devil"

Small update from 2020 :
Everything is still holding fine, excepted for the small horn at the end which broke very quickly !

A little devil of a desk lamp !
Made with 50mm x 3mm aluminium stripes, 15mm x 10mm x 1.5mm aluminium corners and 9v leds.

This is a prototype, it will be upgraded in time.
There is a little gap on the profil so you can snap in a piece of transparent plastic, i've used a piece of a keyboard packaging.
I try to keep the voltage low so the led doesn't heat to much because there is no heatsink other than the aluminium stripes.

One of the first thing i'll change is the strengh, the structure of the base. The lamp wiggle too much and can't be easily lower. I think i'll double the swirl. Or maybe a small aluminium tube going straight down verticaly trough the stripe with the wire inside ??

Please tell me what you think ! It's my first big design and it took me looots of hours...
