Description
If you love this design and it help you improve your printer, consider tipping me as I spent in excess of 100hrs on this design without the time for testing and prototyping. Thanks in advance !
If you want me to print it for you my printing service can be found here : Marianne T
If you want me to put up a kit together for you I can do that as well. Send me a message if it's something you're interested and I'll work out the price of such a kit.
I wasn't happy with the designs I was seeing as they weren't holding the filament all the way and felt crude. So as for my belt tensionner I designed my own. With this design buckling of filament is simply impossible as the filament is constantly surrounded. It's also modular so you don't need a tool to take it off the printer.
2 - bed leveling springs
2 - 45mm m3 bolt
3 - 608 bearings
1 - hobbed bolt
1 - nut for your hobbed bolt
1 - m4 screw size quick connect for your bowden tube
some bowden tube for 1.75mm filament

You'll either put the extruder behind the LCD or on the corner like on the picture. If you have a roll support that go on top of your Anet, put it behind the LCD, it work beautifully. I've put it on the side for space reason when I moved the printer to a more permanent location.
The initial screwing of the quick coupling is difficult, but that's what you want, otherwise it would be loose and easy off. the fit for the 608 is also pretty tight, once again that's what we're looking for. On the other side of the core where the filament get in insert a little bit of bowden tube to guide the filament toward the extruder and you're golden.
IMPORTANT : PLEASE NOTE THE CORRECT ORIENTATION TO PRINT THE PARTS IN THE PICTURES my computer actually burned off with a little plume of smoke and the answer of evga was : out of warranty so f** off. So I'm stuck with my 12 years old dell laptop right now cursing against the short life of evga and the long life of dell and asus parts that I have. Anyway, so I REALLY can't do any CAD to turn the part in the stl right now. Sorry.
I'm pretty sure every thing is there, if you have any question feel free to message me !
simply because it's a waste of lifetime not to be ;)
Keep on printing !
