Design Improvements for Student Desks (a creative project)

Students are given the opportunity in this guided project to design improvements based on a rubric-based outcome for a standard student desk.

Phases of the lesson are:

1. planning
2. small group CAD design (remixing) or searching items from Thingiverse
3. workflow operations between PC and printer
4. showcasing design improvements through presentation using digital media

Groups submit their final projects to the teacher for grading based on a rubric (see below).
