Description

I originally started on this project to create a diffuser for an overly powerful flashlight (18 x XM-L, so pretty unbearable in most uses) and it morphed in to creating what looks like a wand or torch for some smaller flashlights I had. This works well to diffuse what is one of the brighter lights on the market, turning it in to a lantern.

Note: the spacer is needed to keep the flashlight from falling in to the diffuser body.

If you need the flashlight, you can get one here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultrafire-90000-Lumen-5-Modes-T6-Zoomable-18650-LED-Flashlight-Torch-USA/253543931253 (I don't know how long this link will last.)

This is a pretty common generic flashlight, but there are a lot of similar looking ones with identical names; make sure to match the photos with the one I provided perfectly. It should take two batteries and be zoomable.

I'm including the Designspark Mechanical CAD file so you can edit to your liking.

Edit: Added a wand top (made for my Boss's daughter.)
