Description

This is a bigger and more effective version of my wind turbine.
The previous one wasn't big enough to overcome all the friction by pumping the water with a cylinder.
I increased the blade length, number of blades and pumping system.
The pumping is now done with a screw instead of the planned cylinder. also gear ratio is changed, and changed to bevel gears.
Most of the main components are printed, as shown in picture.
In the video the shaft is not yet connected properly.
I'm now printing the base and separating the pole in 4 sections for printing.

You'll need:
M3 bolts sunkhead, 16.12 and 10 mm.
A butload of M3*4.1 brass insterts.
3 ball bearings 22-10-6
Some lubricant for the gears.

Some parts need a little sanding to make them fit nice, but most of it is plug and play.
Inserts are pushed in with a soldering iron.

The base is a temporary one, this whole endeavor is to maximize my output on a small scale so, enought to get 12-24V of electricitiy to run lighting and charge a phone
