Description
UPDATE: I have added a new centre section recessed to take a 5mm thick metal plate. The idea would be to laminate over the plate and have tapped holes in it for foil mounting the foil.
This is an e-foil main hydrofoil made with the Eppler 817 section, specifically designed for hydrofoils. The dimensions are based on the thread from http://efoil.builders/ which deals with the proposed "ideal foil" I have yet to make the rear foil but when i do I'll upload that also. This foil is COMPLETELY UNTESTED by me and has been sliced into sections that I can comfortably fit in my Flash Forge Guider MK1 with an unheated bed. The idea with this print is that it will be the core of the foil and have carbon fibre laminated onto it using vacuum bagging.
