MAJOR UPDATE!
Y Tensioner for Ender 3
Mk7 Version
Upgraded the guide system and simplified all the models
Unified the screws dimensions (with my other tensioner versions)
Modified the minimum belt tensioning position (for short belts)
Slightly increased the tolerances compared to previous models
Added a New Shaped Knob, more "fancy" than the previous version.
Printing Tips :
Body --> Print in Vertical (better with supports)
Screw --> Print Horizontally, lying on the flat face
Knob --> Print in Vertical (No supports Required)
Hardware Requirement :
For the F688Z Bearings Version (OEM?):
1 Screw M4x20 (Button Head) --> Need use adapter
Or - 1 Screw M8x20 (Button Head)
2 Bearings F688Z
2 Screw M4x8 (Button Head)
2 T-Nut M4
For the F624Z Bearings Version :
1 Screw M4x20 (Button Head)
2 Bearings F624Z
2 Screw M4x8 (Button Head)
2 T-Nut M4
For the GT2 Version :
1 GT2 Pulley 20T
1 Screw M3/M4/M5 x20 (according the Pulley bearings)
2 Screw M4x12 (Button Head)
2 T-Nut M4
Fixing system :
- 2 screws M4x8
- 2 t-nut M4
The models are designed for the material stated below.
Note :
I didn't print personally this version, but fittings and tolerances are the same for all my models, so, I am sure they fit together correctly!
If you cannot fit the pieces after the print, you are doing something wrong!
(Sorry guys, but I am tired of comments from people who are unable to print, and blame the models...)
Update of 22/07/2019
Small modification to the body model, in order to have a smooth transition from the tensioner body to the frame.
Furthermore, added the body version for GT2 pulleys, for this kind of pulleys, the screw will sit 2 mm lower than the OEM version, due to GT2/OEM sprockets pithc diameter differences.
Hope you enjoy it
