Description

I designed this to replace a Honeywell timer switch that quit working.

Here's the post that has instructions for the bulid http://homeautomation.proboards.com/board/4/openhab-esp8266-wifi

Backstory:

Starting with the Instructables post by Eric Tsai (https://twitter.com/Eric_1100). I found inspiration with DIY home automation. Computourist (https://github.com/computourist/RFM69-MQTT-client) cleaned up the programming and added the ability to transmit to end nodes. Then I found a great forum that has simplified the build and offers a great community http://homeautomation.proboards.com/post/2053/thread

This is my attempt to contribute back to the http://homeautomation.proboards.com/ community

High voltage power supplies present a serious risk of personal injury if not used in accordance with design and/or use specifications, if used in applications on products for which they are not intended or designed, or if they are used by untrained or unqualified personnel.
