EXOS-2 Eyepiece Extension Tray

The Explore Scientific EXOS2-GT mount provides space for 2-1.5 inch eyepieces and 1-2 inch eyepiece. However, many people have several more than this and therefore this extension tray provides that added capacity. It is also useful to have your eyepieces easily accessible and not stored in the cramped space between the tripod legs.

This tray snaps onto the 12mm central mount shaft and a cross hole is provided on the snap feature for a cross screw to guarantee that it doesn't get knocked off - especially with expensive eyepieces. Two ribs underneath touch off on the metal tray to prevent this tray from rotating.

Three of these trays can be attached together to form a complete circle for those needing even more capacity. In this case the user will have to remove the shaft snap feature on each tray.

I have also added two other optional trays. One is for 2 additional 2" eyepieces and the other is for 3 additional 1.5" eyepieces. This should give you all possible tray variations. Just download the appropriate .stl file
