I built this for my wife. It's called a tumbler rotisserie. The lid uses m3 screws with no drilling. You will need small, half-inch long wood screws for the base. The PVC pipe is half-inch, I used threaded adapters to enable the changing of the extensions for different size cups. You can use pool noodles or small Nerf footballs to mount the cups. There are a lot of youtube videos out there on how to build and use them. I used an inexpensive extension cord from a local department store. One trick I used was to cut and fold a piece of printer paper then slide it in-between the PVC and hole to line up the motor before mounting it. The first try there was some drag with the PVC and the wood. The holes for the PVC are 7/8 in. The motor/PVC adapter is a snug fit and true. I drilled the PVC on a press and used a nail I had laying around for the pin. Watch some youtube videos if you are interested. It's neat. Synchronous Motor AC
