Description
I wanted to make a smoke stopper, following the directions in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsN-tn89hrA&t=142s (Note: not my video), but I wanted to be able to mount the components in a nice case, so I made this one. After I printed it, I realized the wires would probably break where they came out of the box, so I also made a strain relief for it, to be printed out of TPU. I've never designed a strain relief before, so it's not great, but it does work.
Here's the socket I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LGKE4XM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The switch is a Dorman 20 amp duckbill from an auto parts store. The number on the packaging says 85962. You can use just about any switch, as long as it fits.
There is a slot for a 3mm nut to slide into for the clamp where the wires exit.
