Description
I'm interested in constructing polyhedra using glass panes cut and beveled to half the dihedral angle so they can be glued together.
This wedge is a rest for the glass pane when beveling on a bench diamond grinder.
The angle is engraved on the back face of the wedge.
To create a wedge for a dihedral angle of X , set angle to 90 - X/2
The wedge and its recessed text print fine on a RepRap Mendel. The photos show the bevel support for an octahedron being used on a bench diamond grinder, and two equal wedges together used as a jig to glue the edges of two trial panes of glass.
