I was already a favorite bulldozer on two 9g servos on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16234
But I wanted the standard servos machine. I'm even sure I've seen some sort of adjustment, but I have not found it.
The original idea was to make a little bit bigger to get thousands of edges from the standard servos on the drive wheel. A couple of attempts and benchmarks are set at 118%.
A test print of the belt members showed the need for adjustments. Extend the belt so that I do not need to fit every item to the exact size and adjust the holes to hold the tie bars (stainless steel 1mm).
Everything I print on REBEL for speed with nozzle 0.5mm.
When I just wanted to modify the STL to a bigger servos, it so disgusted me so much that I redrawed the whole body again ..... and the blade and so on .....
Servos I took Waipont. Due to their 2 bearings, the adjustment was easy. It was enough just to remove the potentiometer from the last wheel and to throw the locking pin and the servos to stamp the amplifier. Engine cooling is a chapter for itself. I had the advantage that it was an old servos, where the engine was screwed to the lower part of the gearbox. So I did not assemble the bottom parts of the boxes. We'll see ..... The screws replaced the insulator on both sides.
The control is FlySky i6 because it is a small hand transmitter. The servos are in Channels 1 and 3. Two Mixtures 1-> 3 100% and 3 -> 1 100% are cast. It works. Inside, I'll have to do a bit of a bunch of cuts and complete the switch. I ride two lions straight. Servos and receivers still handle it, even if it's beyond their limit.
The disadvantage of the old servos is their temperature dependence. The center is still starting and needs to be trimmed. I guess I'll solve SS regulators from China.
When I verified that it was driving, I worked on the blade and its control. It is a pity that i6 does not have a slower servos.
PLA strips have sufficient adhesion on the carpet, it's just for moving on a floating floor or a line.
Many parts need to be mirrored and print the other half. The parts are glued with a second medium density glue and I use an activator.
I will be pleased to see this contribution bring more children to the technique and ideally to model aircraft.
