Description
Continuing the archery theme of my other models, this is a fanning arrow stand inspired by the very neat and useful arrow holder design by Nelky:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:330681
I needed a drying stand while I was making up my wooden arrows. My version is a ground-up redesign for large diameter shafts, larger profile fletchings and for a full set.
The holes are 9mm diameter and capable of taking 5/16" shafts with fit over points as shown. The angle between shafts is wider to accommodate larger fletchings and I have provided 12 arrow and 24 arrow versions with each row angled outwards from each other (Two versions of each - heavy fillet or simple straight sides)
I have only allowed for it to be screwed to a base plate - mine is screwed to my homemade string jig. For use outside, I have added a 12 and 24 sized staked foot to screw into.
