1.75mm Filament Clip for Amazon Basics

UPDATE: 2019-01-15

Realized there was a problem with the "Amazon Basics 2019.stl", so that file has been pulled down and replaced with "Amazon Basics 2019.2.stl". If you were having an issue not being able to slice the first one, the new .2 version should resolve that issue.

UPDATE: 2019-01-13

Added "Amazon Basics 2019.stl" to create more tension around the spool lip, and provide more space at the inner edge of the clip. If you feel the original clip doesn't provide enough grip on the spool, try that new one.

The first filament I bought was the Amazon Basics filament, which has been working fine, but none of the filament clips I could find already designed fit the spools properly. So, I made these to fill the gap.

I had printed a few from Walter's, as well, and found that their thing walls would wear down quickly, so I also made these a bit beefier than your average clip.

The filament groove is for 1.75mm filament, and features a slight contour to aid in griping the filament and holding it in place. The clip also fits snug around the rim of the spool so it 'locks' into place.
