Description
The Mosaic Palette 2 doesn't come with a great attachment mechanism for the Robo R2/C2, so this should do the trick. It fits over the filament sensor on your R2/C2: the stock bowden tube inserts and locks it in from above, the bottom part clips into the sensor housing, and the Palette's feeder tube snaps in from below.
You'll want to set a custom tube length (mine is 107mm, including the short Palette 2 feed tube) to account for the length of: Palette Tube + Robo3D filament sensor + Robo3D feed tube. This will cause the Palette to feed the filament all the way through, just past the end of the Robo3D feed tube (right at the extruder) so it's easy to feed the filament directly into the extruder when it's time to print.
As a bonus, the snap-fit on the bottom will hold without the bowden tube being inserted from above. So, you can use it to dock the Palette tube on the secondary extruder port when you're not using it.
