Tips are appreciated and go towards creating new designs
A friend of mine is into wargaming and wants to organize his paints a little bit better to have them easily accessible and all stored neatly. He saw the design by Black Hussar which is pretty neat, but the meshes seem a bit broken and after fixing them the paint holder doesn't quite fit the Ikea Skadis Pegboard for some reason. So I stepped in and designed a new one from scratch.
The paint holder is sized such that it uses two same-aligned rows of the pegs on the Skadis pegboard (so technically 4 rows), but spacing is left between the holders so that they fit next to each other in a row. I've added versions for 3, 4 and 5 Citadel paint bottles which should make it possible to cover pretty much any situation on the Skadis pegboards.
The back side features removeable hooks and securing pegs (for easier printability) which can also be adjusted for height, should you wish to do so.
The differences between the regular and "simple" GW_PaintHolder are pretty much cosmetic. The simple one has a different back design which makes it use a bit less plastic and thus print a tiny bit faster.
If you want to design your own versions, I've added a PDF with blueprints and key measurements as reference material, as well as 'blanks' for easy modification (with the number indicating how many pegs it uses) in STL and STEP formats.
