Description
I've been looking into upgrading my Da Vinci 2.0a. After several tries with other thingies, all kinds of problems occurred, which forced me to design some parts myself.
The drop-in is being re-purposed. You'll need to drill a few holes to attach the parts to the skeleton, but everything fits snugg.
A dual material cooler is also included.
Because the location of the extruders are lower than the original ones, a positive side-effect rises: There's no longer the need to lead the transport belt trough the material cooler, it simply leads underneath it.
Also, the Z-endstop needs to be adjusted, for which i made a adjustable thingy.
To make the train move more smoothly, I added some bearings to the X and Y directions.
The Bowden setup needed some drilling and sanding to the housing without any printed parts.
Printing the material cooler takes about 11 hours on my CR-10, so be patient for new pictures, they're on the way...
Latest Update (14-08-2020): Designed a complete carriage to hold two extruders, a compact material fan shroud, and a bl-touch. I'll post updates along the way....
