PSP Go Grip Xbox style

After ending up snaging a cheap go on ebay with the intent to get my emulator game on I ended up neglecting it for the first year since the controls felt to cramped for my ape hands but eventually I wolfed down a 10 hour playthrough of Castlevania: SotN and decided to rectify some of my complaints my fingers were giving me. After 2 failed designs I started to get in my tspline game and ended up with a go cradle that best approximates a xbox controller design to the PSP go. The controller portion isn't a direct 360 controller I designed it from reference material for the core dimensions so it should still hold similarly to a 360 controller but I changed a few things for my own personal preference to attempt to make the new control locations feel as best as possible.

Printings pretty simple, requires (160x110x100) size build volume printer. Print in two slices for speed and accuracy or print it solid if ya got the guts. 10% infill and 0.2-0.3 layer height depending on how much post process your doing. Epoxy finishers allow you to cover the bigger gaps generated by big layers well. You will likely want a spot of support under the bottom clip on the top half.

Post process instructions:
Use 4 10mm m3 screws to center and clamp the two halfs together to and glue together, remove screws after glue has set. An additional clamp should be used on the bridging section containing the thread inserts for the latch.

You need a small bit of hardware, two m3 machine screws and two m3 thread inserts. Just glue the thread inserts into the corrosponding spot when you assemble the two halfs.
I highly recommend you finish/sand/XTC-3D etc as it will make the world of difference to how it feels after a few hours of use.

When you open and close the screen the top latch will click off, just press lightly on the back of the grip and front of the psp to snap the clip back in. Pay special attention to sand the top ridges of the clip smooth and beveled after print to avoid any unnecessary wear/tear on the casing when it opens and closes. You shouldn't need to unscrew the latch every-time you remove the psp but its a likely point of failure so I chose to make it easily replaceable.
