1/4" Latex Hose to Schrader Valve Stem adapter

I wanted to inflate a 1/4" latex hose with a bicycle pump to provide positive pressure to the inside diameter of a laminated paper tube while the glue dried, to keep it from delaminating while it dried out.

I think my latex was ~12 years old, and was far too brittle for the task. I think the idea still has merit, but there's other ways to pull this off that don't require expensive latex hose from the hardware store.

Still I figured maybe this will work for someone else.

I secured the hose to the barbs with a couple of zip ties, and put a wrap of teflon tape on the threads before using wrenches to tighten.
