Description
This is a remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2770957
I made small modifications to the chasis to make it fit my Arduino board and electronic components. I reinforced the parts holding the DC motors to reduce the chance of breaking the chasis when inserting the wheels. I modified the cover (and the base accordingly) for the IR receiver to fix its installation orientation. I modified the slave wheel to make it look the same as the master wheel. I also modified the track for easier printing and installation. In addition, I added a speaker mount and a 10440 Li-Ion battery mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3117089).
To complete the tank, you will also need
- 1 x Huaduino board (Arduino compatible board with Lithium battery power up & charging)
- 1 x CC2540 Bluetooth BLE module
- 1 x L9110s 2-way DC motor driver
- 2 x GA12-N20 6V 100rpm motors
- 1 x 28mm 8R 1W speaker
- 1 x SG90 9g servo
- 1 x 5mm 940nm IR led
- 1 x VS1838B IR receiver
- 1 x 10440 650mAH 3.7V Li-Ion battery
- Wires and tapping screws (6 M2x6, 9 M2x8)
The Arduino board I am using is https://www.ebay.com/itm/295091663669 (in case the link does not work, try to search using the keyword "HuaDuino").
If you use a different board, you will need to modify "battle_tank_board_holder_front_v2.stl" and "battle_tank_board_holder_back_v2.stl" to fit the one you are using. I have also added assembly guide and programming guide to Thing Files. To control Battle Tank, you can download "GoBLE" for iOS devices or "playBLE" for Android devices. You also need to set UUID and CHAR of your BLE module to 0xDFB0 (using the AT command: AT+UUID0xDFB0) and 0xDFB1 (using the AT command: AT+CHAR0xDFB1), respectively, for the mobile app to connect to it successfully.
You need to print 32 copies of the track unit, 2 copies of the mudguard, 2 copies of the master wheel and 2 copies of the slave wheel. For the rest of the components, you need to print only 1 copy each.
