The following little story, as a grandfather has the privilege to give his grandchildren, even if they are small, something to which then their hearts hang. In the present case, this is a small green car that has the property, when driving against a solid object, to separate from all attached parts, explosively.
Every cabinet and every wall is a welcome opponent for this game because the loser is fixed from the beginning.
Unfortunately, one of these crashes then remained with lasting consequences, because now a part is no longer locked.
What happened? By a slightly too strong impact, a detent that is operated by a spring mechanism is broken off. It seemed like the beloved toy was supposed to go the aisle of all broken toys. But here, too, the grandfather has the privilege of first taking a look at the matter and then deciding what is feasible and what is not.
The simplest, I initially thought, would be the new purchase of this toy, but unfortunately there is no longer commercially available, at least it was not to find. The only thing remaining was to see if there was any repairable damage to fix.
At first I thought that was extremely unlikely to find a repair solution here, but the ambition was aroused and so I decided to build the broken part. For this purpose, an intact locking nose was removed, of which there are 4 pieces within the damage case and armed with calipers and DesignSpark Mechanical 1.0, it went to the reconstruction of the faulty part.
After the re-construction was done, it went to the printing.
Three quarters of an hour later, the result was tangible, the pieces were printed and working, at least one, because the others are still in the Matrix.

Wie das?
Folgende kleine Geschichte, als Opa hat man das Vorrecht, seinen Enkeln auch wenn sie noch klein sind, etwas zu schenken, woran dann ihr Herz hängt. Im vorliegenden Fall ist das ein kleines grünes Auto, welches die Eigenschaft hat, wenn es gegen einen festen Gegenstand fährt, sich von allen angebauten Teilen, explosionsartig, zu trennen.
Für dieses Spiel ist dann jeder Schrank und jede Wand ein willkommener Gegner, weil der Verlierer von vorn herein fest steht.
Leider ist einer dieser Crashs dann mit bleibenden Folgen geblieben, weil nun ein Teil sich nicht mehr einrasten lies.
Was war passiert?, durch einen etwas zu kräftigen Aufprall ist eine Rastnase, die über einen Federmechanismus betätigt wird, abgebrochen. Es schien so, als ob das beliebte Spielzeug den Gang aller defekten Spielsachen gehen sollte. Aber auch hier hat der Opa das Vorrecht erstmal die Sache in Augenschein zu nehmen und dann zu entscheiden, was machbar ist und was nicht.
Das einfachste, so dachte ich zunächst, wäre der Neukauf dieses Spielzeugs, aber leider gibt es das nicht mehr käuflich zu erwerben, zumindest war es nicht zu finden. Blieb eigentlich nur zu schauen, ob hier ein reparabler Schaden vorlag, der zu beheben war.
Zunächst hielt ich das als äußerst unwahrscheinlich, hier eine Reparaturlösung zu finden, aber der Ehrgeiz war geweckt und so beschloss ich das zerbrochene Teil nach zu bauen. Dazu wurde eine intakte Rastnase ausgebaut, davon sind innerhalb des Schadenfalls 4 Stück vorhanden und mit Messschieber und DesignSpark Mechanical 1.0 bewaffnet ging es an die Nachkonstruktion des fehlerhaften Teils.
Nachdem die Re-Konstruktion fertig war, ging es an das Drucken.
Eine dreiviertel Stunde später war das Ergebnis greifbar, die Teile waren ausgedruckt und funktionsfähig, zumindest eins, weil die anderen nach wie vor in der Matrix sind.
