Bird battery shower toy

Made this for my baby conure (parrot) as he is not interested in water yet but he loves exploring things and its more fun than a bath, maybe.

Not going to leave it in his cage, just stick it in there for a bit of fun, does not splash any water around by itself but I imagine it gets everywhere with a parrot under it.

silicone hose is 9mm OD.

2 base designs on there, 1 is just a basic fitting and the other (food_base) is intended to fit on top of a takeaway food container. I was a bit hasty designing it and it does not take into account the corners of the container, will fix it up later however it is useable as it currently stands.
Was not sure how many holes in the shower head so 2 designs for that also, they just press into the nozzle_rear section.

Takes 2 AA batterys and I figure they will last for years with intermittent use so I have just soldered wires to them and the switch etc currently. Photos do not have the wire_cap and bat_cap parts attached, they fit either end of the battery holder (3mm bolts) and cover the wires from stopping the bird accessing them.

There are 2 dowel parts, one for the perch itself (fits into the part called "tang") and a vertical piece fits between the "holder" part and head_arm part, holes for the dowel are 12.5mm so a tight fit for 1/2".

Yet to complete the design, these are the revision 1 parts, though it is functional as is, the microswitch spring is not always strong enough to lift the perch once wet so will add a little spring somewhere, or perhaps a piece of foam pushing the perch back up. A few other areas not happy with, the battery holder could be more functional, and still to design a piece to cover the wiring between switch and batterys etc.
