Description

The Transistor sword from the game Transistor is #1 in my 10" Desk Weapon series. As with most of my designs, the original style was modified to make it easy to print.

The Grey Matteforge Matte PLA used to print this design was provided by Printed Solid:
https://www.printedsolid.com/

This sword has a thin handle, so I made a 2.4mm hole to allow reinforcement. I used Ook 14 gauge wire:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/OOK-14-Gauge-x-100-ft-Galvanized-Steel-Wire-50142/100200924

The wire can be easily straightened using a block of wood and a drill. Just search YouTube for "straighten wire control rods" to find a great video showing how to do this.

I have included a STEP file in the downloads for easy customization. This could make a pretty cool full-size prop!
