Description
I'm working on a new hotend mount for my Ender-3, and I thought I'd share my coarse approximation of Creality's component. This was the definition of "quick and dirty", I didn't remove it from the printer, but I did use digital calipers, so there's a modicum of accuracy. Supplemented by the few CAD drawings I could find online, and voilá!
You might notice some discrepancies between this and the CAD you'll find (it requires persistent Googling, but it's out there), these dimensions are taken from my printer, yours might vary somewhat.
The bend radius at the bottom was a complete guess, and if you're looking to test for clearance I think the little brass clips on the ends of the belt kind of dangle a bit lower, depending on what angle you're looking from.
Overall, it should help you correlate the M3 through-holes that are flush to the pair that are raised, and work around the button-head cap screws holding the wheels on.
