Description

Made this as my little conure is not 3 months old yet and likes being hand fed nuts which he then powders and drops all over the place, this is to help him ween off relying on me and also help clean up.
The base is made from wood (ignore the horrible mitres, i really did it in a hurry and ran out of half round) with a small piece of removable plastic (corflute) as a cover for easy cleaning.
Printed in PLA+ which should be safe enough, all i can find with food contact is it can release some lactic acid (700 times less than breast milk) when tested with all sorts of solvents like ethanol.
To ensure waterproofing I coated the insides of the bowls with bees wax anyway.
The little bowls are removable I did 30mm outer of bowl and 30.2mm for the holder ring, snap in and out with little effort.
Clamp and holder attach with 3mm allen head bolts, I used 20mm long ones, quite a firm grip so bitd can stand on it without it tipping.
I will also make some adapters to add things like a spike for apple slices, that was what the hole in the clamp piece was intended for .. so will add more bits as I come up with ideas.

Twig I used for the perch was 15mm diameter, clamp should work down to 12mm, anything above 15mm and you will need to cut a groove for the clamp bolts to go though.

added a spike for fruit ..

edits, turns out it was not holding the fruit very well so I did a new design for a fruit holder that takes up to 3 toothpicks, will probably trim them down so as not to maim my parrot :)
Toothpick holes are 2mm and hole in middle is to help remove broken toothpicks, (quickly learnt that was needed from previous unpublished version)

Also did a slightly deeper bowl for water, does not need to hold much but the first version spilled too easily.
