Description
All six of the distinct faces of the Lament Configuration!
I designed this version of the Lament Configuration in Tinkercad, and Photoshop, using vectors based on Simon Sayce's (the fellow that created the original movie prop) original design. I decided to go with a simple tongue and groove design that allows the faces to be printed up, then easily assembled.
Several versions that I've printed:
Multi-material versions: Print in your base color up to 5mm then your secondary color 5.2mm and up. I did a version using 3dSolutech "Real Black" for the Priapus bases, and 3dSolutech "Chocolate Brown" for the Amaimon and Serat bases, and CC3D "Silk Gold" for the intaglios. My lighted version, I printed with Melca "Clear" for the bases and CC3D "Silk Gold" for the intaglios. I then inserted a simple remote color changing led while assembling it.
Single Materials version: Because the movie prop has black priapus faces and brown amaimon and serat faces, I used 3dSolutech "Real Black" for the Priapus faces and 3dSolutech "Chocolate Brown" for the Amaimon and Serat faces. I then dipped each piece in a 25% black acrylic paint and 75% water mixture to add an aged darker look. After the pieces were dry I dry brushed a metallic gold acrylic over the intaglios. After that dried I dipped the pieces in the paint/water mix again.
