Auxiliary battery for Pentax Q7

Using a strip of 0.1mm nichrome battery connection strip; cut to 3mm wide and whatever lenght, you can wrap the PROBES components in nichrome, solder wires to the tops of them. Insert them into the battery dummy and glue them down.

I used a male 2.54mm XH connector on the end, and plug it into a salvaged tablet 3.7V battery pack. Any DC3.5-ish Volt supply you have on hand will do.
Some of the images show how you could use resistors to convert a USB connection to 3.7V. I plan to HDMI my Q7 into a 55" TV that sits behind my microscope, so USB as a power source seemed logical. Using the 3.7V is simpler though.
