This little gadget can be used to perfectly cut your Bowden tube with a Knife of your Choice! Easy but efficient. The aid tools come along with 3 different sizes of knife slots (0.5, 0.75 & 1mm) to perfect fit your personal knife cut width. There are three versions to choose for You, depending on Your printer/filament: - 4.00mm Version is for 1.75mm Filaments - 6.35mm Version is for 2.85mm Filaments - Combi-Version is for both Filament sizes What do You need this thing for? Its a simple and fast way to cut a bowden tube in perfect 90° angle and perfect flat surface in extremly economic way without thinking too much. Why is it Importat to Cut Bowden Tubes Perfectly? The reason to cut the Bowden tube in a good way is to make sure the tube is perfectly fitting on your nozzle when you reassamble your hotend after disassambling. This is important, because of the fact that if the cut of the Tube is slightly angled or uneven it highly raises the chance of squeezing out filament between Nozzle and Bowden Tube -> blocked hotend/tube. When should You use the gadget? Everytime you got a blocked Hotend/Bowden end or you were disassambling it, you should take care about a good fit between Nozzle and Tube. How to use it? Simply choose the knife width you need (as less clearance as possible), choose the length of the cut and then cut through the slot.
