Description
A Raspberry Pi cam holder that utilizes the sturdy ball joints derived from the source (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3412413) and a socket that clips onto the threaded rods of the Anet A8. Everything printed at 0.2 mm and without supports. The ball joints will most likely benefit from a raft, I tried both with and without. Raft quality or lack thereof will not affect the functionality of the joints.
The bumper for the Raspberry Pi in the overview pic can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3401335
Also thanks to Sergei for uploading the original/horizontal version these ball joints are based on.
NB: after some use, my ball-joints seemed to loosen up a bit. Made some new ones where I added 0.1 mm to the diameter of the ball. Try ball-joint.new.stl and/or dumbbell.new.stl if this happened to you also. Also decided to drop hollowing these ones out and just adjust the infill instead, 50% seems to work here.
Also added cleaner version of the ball joints utilizing max overhang. Your printer needs to be able to do 45° overhangs if you want to try this.
Also, if you don't have an A8, but are looking for something for your Anycubic Kossel, try this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3412439
edit: added a version of the clip with a ball. No pics yet.
