Description
This is a case I made to house a Lanpu LM2596 DC-DC Buck Converter module.
Here are my design goals and considerations:
• Clean fit for the Lanpu LM2596 buck converter module, with clearance so it is not too tight.
• Not fully enclosed, to reduce the risk of the buck converter overheating.
• A feature to reduce risk of damage to input and output wires, due to external movement.
• Discrete mounting points, spaced for attaching to a 2020 (or similar) rail. More specifically, to mount on the side of my Creality Ender 3 Pro printer, to power my Raspberry Pi.
• Recessed holes should print without the need for supports.
