Description
This is a deck box for the card game Spaceteam, which is a co-operative shouting game similar to Thom Robertson's popular smartphone game of the same name. The box fits the cards in sleeves with the Triangulum expension.
It prints without supports if you orient it so the base of the box and the top of the lid are flat on the bed. (That is, print the box right-way-up and the lid upside-down.) The walls are 0.5 mm, with 0.3 mm clearance between the base and the lid. These are both set by global variables in Solidworks so they should be easy to adjust.
Pay extra attention to the little fit feature on the sides, as this may not come out when sliced. There should be a sticky-out bit on the two long sides of the box, with a corresponding indent in the two long sides of the lid.
I used a soluble raft to print it, so the debossed logo on top came out fine (apart from making the raft slightly harder to separate). I'd love to hear how well this prints on a single-extrusion printer. Please add your makes with photos!
