Summary

These are just the settings & materials I use. I can't speak highly enough about TacTink's white filament. I printed mine at 0.4mm and it came out pretty smooth but I would recommend if you want a nice clean print to use 0.1-0.2mm. I rant this print with 100% fan all the time and 210C for nozzle and 40C for the bed. 5% infill seems to be enough for this print; it seems to be very stable. I used generated support by slic3r to support the circular horizontal bar. It pops right off.

It pops right off. </p><p>It's a basic design for those looking to upgrade the ADIMLab Gantry factory spool holder with a quick print. I think it took only about an hr or hr and a half. The horizontal bar is rounded not only a half circle like the factory ADIMLab holder. It has 4 bottom supports and two top for a total of 6 braces as opposed to the 3 stock ones. I also added 2 more holes than the stock one for extra support and offset them a few mm backwards to help with support as well. It alleviates some strain off the Z axis rails. This was the first item I made myself as an upgrade to the printer. </p><p>I am not an expert in geometry or mathematics so take my statements with a grain of salt when I claim it gives more support. I'm using basic logic to assume these things. </p><p>I didn't use the factory design as a remix but I did use it for the basic concept of a single bar vertical and horizontal so I will tag as a remix just in case that's a thing. Feel free to use this print how you wish, it's nothing special, but it works great. Should fit all 2020 style frames!</p></div>
