Ratcheting Reel

This is my version of an emergency/suvival/pocket fishing reel. It can actually be used with just about any kind of small line you can find, and even small strap if you can find that too. Very simple ratcheting design with push button release. This is still a work in progress and I have NOT been able to print it out yet. Just don't have the time. A total of 9 plastic components (so far) and will require 27 x 3M scews of various lengths to assemble. I'll be able to refine the design more once I've printed and tested it out. Till then, if anybody else wants to have a go at printing it, you're more than welcome to do so. I'll update as I go.

3/13/2019 UPDATE: Went ahead and made a few changes. Added threading to the front end so that it can be fitting to a rod or stick as needed. I also uploaded the individual part files as STL and STP.

3/17/19 UPDATE: Well, I finally got it printed out. Mechanically it works, however, its bigger than I anticipated. I've also found a number of ways I want to improve it. Too many to really justify changing this model, so I'm going to just start on a new version, which I'll finish this week hopefully.
