So you bought a cool vertical turntable to save space and as an excuse to re-explore that old collection of vinyl in the garage. Soul, Funk, House, Classical, whatever. You've wasted hours scouring flea markets and estate sales in your past and you're not ashamed. But you're old, perhaps you have disabilities like Parkinson's or arthritis and when you switch between the 33prm and 45rpm setting, the massive o-ring (aka belt) slips off the platter causing frustration and cursing that the wife can hear.

OK enough about my personal problems.

Here is a set of two 3D-printed parts designed to ease the process of placing the belt in the proper place. One clips on the front and is held in place with the OEM screw-on record retainer and the other rests in-between the platter and the main chassis in such a way that the belt won't slip down behind the platter as easily.

Clamp the belt in between the edge of the platter and the front 3D-printed part and rotate around carefully so the belt follows the path of the whole platter without falling off. I'll post a video when I have time.
