Description
My mother was making empanadas by hand, using a fork to crimp the edges. She had tried several of the presses on the market but didn't like any of them. I had been tinkering with a ravioli press in OpenSCAD and figured I could easily reuse some of the code to make an empanada press... so here it is. It works with the standard 6inch empanada dough you can find at many grocery stores in the US and Canada.
The design is fully parametric in OpenSCAD and can be adapted to any dough size and thickness you like.
