This is a carpet corner protection - I use it because my roomba tends to fray the corners of my carpets when going over them over time. It is best printed with flexible Filament (TPU), or sturdy one (PETG, ABS), as you can step on it and it should not break. You don't need support (printing it upright as in pic nr. 3) - if your first layer does not stick too well you might need a brim. To tailor it to your needs (carpet height, ...), you can scale the edge-protector in your slicer (z, or if needed x/y dimension). It should be a tight fit, so the protector does not come off easily. You can use double sided adhesion tape between the lower part and the carpet to make the carpet stick better within the protector.

Das ist ein Teppicheckenschutz - ich nutze ihn weil mein Roomba meine Teppichecken auf Dauer stark ausfranst beim drübergehen mit den Bürsten. Am besten benutzt man dafür flexibles Material wie TPU, oder zähes wie PETG oder ABS, da man auf diesen Schutz auch drauftreten können sollte, ohne dass er bricht. Support benötigt man nicht zum Drucken (wird aufrecht gedruckt wie in Bild Nr. 3), aber falls das Objekt nicht ausreichend hält auf der Buildplate sollte man einen brim nutzen. Um den Schutz an Teppiche individuell anupassen (z.B. Höhe) kann man das Modell einfach im Slicer skalieren (z, oder wenn benötigt auch x/y). Der Teppich sollte eng sitzen im Kantenschutz, damit er nicht zu leicht abgestreift werden kann ausversehen. Damit der Teppich besser im Schutz hält kann man innen auch doppeltes Klebeband anbringen (zwischen dem unteren Part und dem Teppich).
