This is a remix of the great design by bummster with the following changes
You can purchase all required materials from combination of Amazon, Target, Home Depot, AliExpress or your choice of stores. It cost me about $14 in US.
PTFE tube with OD between 3mm and 6mm fits the cable glands. I used leftover PTFE from water purification system.
Print the rod mounts. You need to make them lay flat on one of sides that is completely flat and they will print without any support.
Print the shaft bushings. The busing must be flat on the wider side. Its designed to print without support.
The bearings fits inside the bushings and the other end slides inside the PVC pipe. Use two nuts on each end, one inside the bushing and one outside to sandwich the bearing. The bearing inner race is wide enough to prevent the nut from interfering with the rotation. It's a bit pin to adjust the inner nuts but you only need to do this only once.
Cut the 5/16 threaded rod to 12 and 3/4 inches (324mm).
Cut the PVC pipe to 11 and 1/8 inches (282mm).
Hang the rod mounts on the box handles that protrude inside the box and put the rode in the mount slots. You might need to adjust the length of the PVC pipe so the shaft fits in the available space.
I drilled the gland holes with 1/2 inch step drill. They are spaced by 68mm each and are 1.5 inches above the top of the PVC shaft. Position is not critical but I think this location works well for 4 spools.
When using with fewer than 4 spool the spool tends to "walk" the rod. You can use the provided clam to keep the spool in place.
