Description
This is a DIY printable watch movement holder. Modeled after a well know holder. It's not an exact copy because I don't own one. A great opportunity to practice my fusion skills. Especially joint and motion links.
The top holds large movements up to 40+ mm; the bottom is for smaller movements. Select your spring based on the largest and smallest distance between the clamps that you need.
The printing is actually a small part of the holder. The other parts (metric) are available at your local hardware store.
For the printing a little bit of support material is needed for the recessed hole for the washer and for the carriage bold.
The 3mm holes need to be reamed to glide smoothly. the blind holes need to stay tight. Optionally you can glue in the 3mm rods with some cyanoacrylate glue.
